Home is where the Heart is

Home is where the heart is .....Probably! Canvas

This canvas is made up of just words and numbers.

I ripped up some pages from a math's book and stuck them to blank canvas until it was covered.

I painted over the canvas with a thin coat of gesso. Then added some colour using blue, green and yellow acrylic paint.

I've used Dylusions stencils to add darker layers, and Tim Holtz stamps for more interest.

 

For the words I used Tim Holtz Grungeboard letters, coloured with Dylusions inks and Cosmic Shimmers.

I've edged the canvas with blue and white paint, and finished it off with a spiral wire hanger.

Another great project from Michelle, I like the random use of fonts on this canvas.
